Large Raku Teardrop Earrings
The palest of green and lime with patterns of silver cover the surface of these drop earrings, They are a fabulous statement piece and will bring some bling to your evening wear.
They were fired using the raku technique where they were heated up to 1000c and removed from the kiln whilst glowing red. They were then added to combustibles (wood shavings and paper), allowed to burn for a but and then covered to put them into a reduction atmosphere.
