Raku Flower Earrings
The perfect summer earrings. Pale lime with yellow highlights and a glassy crackle finish make these pretty earrings that can be worn every day.
They were fired using the raku technique where they were heated up to 1000c and removed from the kiln whilst glowing red. They were then added to combustibles (wood shavings and paper), allowed to burn for a but and then covered to put them into a reduction atmosphere.
I have 2 pairs of these earrings and I’ll choose my favourite pair to send
Hypo-allergenic fishhook fittings and 4 cm from the top of the hook to the bottom of the flower. Supplied in a lovely gift box.
