Teardrop Vase
This was most definitely an experiment. I wanted to test a technique which let me change the shape of the vase, and I’m pleased to say, that it was a success and the joins held really well. As you can see from the juicy glaze drops, this shape also lends itself to a lot of movement in the glaze. Something for me to bear in mind the next time I do this shape.
16 cm high, 11 cm at the widest and 2 cm aperture. Perfect for that one blousy bloom
